Great Wall Simatai

If you are physically well and you like to hike, Simatai is the place for you. I can drop you off at a certain point called Jin Shan Ling, from there you can start hiking on the wall, the underground is very uneven and rough, so good hiking-boots are required. Depending on your physical well-being and general condition, the hike takes about three to four hours to the point where I'll be waiting for you with the car.

The Simatai Great Wall is located at approximately 150 km from Beijing. The ride takes, depending on the traffic, about two and a half hour.

The price is 800 RMB, this price is for the car, not per person,
with a maximum of four passengers.

If you have a group from 5 up to 14 passengers I can offer you a van, the price is 1000 RMB, this price is for the van, not per person.

Don't forget to bring enough snacks, drinks are available at the wall at some points but bring enough to start with. Don't underestimate the strength of the sun in the summertime, so bring a hat or umbrella and sunscreen lotion.

Note: Sometimes Simatai is closed for repairs, in that case I’ll take you to a similar part called Jinshanling. Since this is further away the price will be 900 RMB for the car and 1500 RMB for the van.
