At the Mutianyu Great Wall you can choose different ways of going up to the wall; you can go by cable-car for two people, this is like a ski-lift. You can also go up by closed off cable-car for 6 people. Going down can be done the same way or by toboggan run, it's a thrill.

You can also choose to walk up and down by stairs.

The Mutianyu Great Wall is located at approximately 80 km from Beijing. The ride takes, depending on the traffic, about one and a half hour.

The price is 600 RMB, this price is for the car, not per person, with a maximum of four passengers.

I can pick you up around 07:00 from any location, drive you to the wall and back, including your average stay at the wall it would take about 5 to 6 hours, so you would be back around noon or 13:00. The advantage of leaving this early is that there won't be many people on the wall yet. Of course you can decide yourself what time to leave, this is just a suggestion.

If you would choose to visit the Summer Palace for example, you can have a simple pancake lunch down at the wall or you can have lunch back in Beijing, after that I'd take you to the Summer Palace and wait for you to take you back to your hotel. I can recommend you several good restaurants near the Great Wall and in Beijing.
